He was battling with the chronic lung disease COPD ( Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) with bronchitis and emphysema for a long time. Due to the COPD, there was a problem with airflow in his lungs and breathing was blocked.
After his death, a Senior scientist of the inflammation and chronic diseases, Dr Shawn, stated at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute program that COPD mostly affected people whose age are above 50 and old.
