India Latest News: The Karnataka 2nd PUC exam 1 results have been declared at the official website on 8th April 2025, kseab.karnataka.gov.in/karresults.nic.in. This year, the total pass percentage of students in the kseab pic 2 has been recorded at 73.45 per cent, including science, commerce and arts streams. While comparing this pass percentage to the previous year, it is seen that 7.7 per cent has declined.
How to download the result?
To download the result of the 2nd PUC exam 1 held in March 2025, visit the official website of KSEAB using candidate credentials such as login ID or registration number, password, and captcha. Students use this result as provisional till the original Marksheet is generated. For the original Marksheet, the student must ask the college official.
About this exam
This second PUC exam 1 is conducted by the Karnataka School Education and Assessment Board, and it was conducted in the month of March 2025.
How many students passed in the 2nd PUC 2025 Karnataka?
As we can see from the results announced today that out of 2,08,794 who appeared in the Kanada language medium, only 1,17,703 passed. For the English medium, out of 4,29,011 students who appeared for the exam, only 3,50,736 passed, which is appx 81.75%.
If we see the results category-wise, the pass percentage of the scheduled caste candidate is 62.43%, ST Schedule tribe at 63.07%, category 1 at 69.28%, category 2A at 75.51%, Category 2B at 70.91% and in general at 87 percent.
For the stream-wise passing percentage of the exam appeared candidates in this second PUC exam 1, the passing percentage in the science stream has been recorded at 82.45 per cent, Commerce at 76.07%, and Arts stream at 53.29%.
While examining the overall pass percentage of 2025, i.e, 73.45, it is a little lower compared to the 2024 passing percentage, which was 81.15 per cent. However, if we compare it or the 2022, 2020, and 2019 results, the result this year is more improved.

- 2022: 61.88%
- 2023: 74.67%
It is to be noted that in 2025, the KSEAB will be conducting three PUC exams, i.e exams 1,2 and 3 respectively, which gives students a better opportunity to improve their grades. And out of these three exams, only the best one is to be considered as the final result. There is also a chance for those candidates who are absent from exam 1 can appear the exam 2.
