The overall NEET counselling will be conducted by the MCC and in online mode. Candidates who have qualified the National eligibility cum entrance test conducted in the year 2025 may now register on the MCC NIC portal and appear for the first round counselling to get allotted seats or get admission to top Govt-recognised medical institutes in India. The seat allotment after counselling will be based on the rankings and scores obtained by candidates in the National Testing Agency’s national eligibility cum entrance test held in 2025.

What happens after the round 1 counselling?
After the National eligibility cum entrance test first round counselling, the second and third rounds of counselling will be conducted based on the ranking they achieved in the NEET Undergraduate entrance test held. Once the counselling is over, the candidate will be given seats in the respective colleges for admission. During the admission time, candidate also need to provide their original document to the respective institutes and finalise the admission procedures with physical presence.

Admission quotas details
The qualified candidates after the counselling have to get admission to various medical Institutes in India. The all-India quota is 15 per cent, and the remaining 100% quotas will be given to institutes like AIIMS(All India Institute of Medical Science), BHU, JIPMER and other top medical colleges in India.

Registration Steps for MCC NEET 2025 Counselling
Evccery national eligibility cum entrance test-qualified candidate may follow the following steps to get registered on the MCC website and attend the counselling online..
- The first step is to visit the MCC official website and get registered as a new user..
- While registering online, select preferred branches either Medical or dental and also provide candidate information such as NEET Undergraduate entrance test roll number, Name, Date of birth, Security pin captcha and select the I agree button to proceed with the counselling online..
- During the registration process, candidates are also required to fill in the full details of the mother’s name, father’s name and address as provided during the time of the NEET UG registration.
- After entering all this data, the candidate should pay both the consulting fees, i.e refundable and non-refundable (Security deposits)
Document requirements for the NEET UG admission TO the Institute after counselling
To get admission and proceed with counselling, the candidate should also provide the following documents
- National eligibility cum entrance test, the Admit card of the candidate
- Seat allotment Letter provided by the MCC
- Date of birth certificate, which can be the matric certificate or any government-provided certificate
- Scorecard of the NEET UG entrance test 2025
- Class 12 passed mark sheet and certificate
- 8 photographs that should be similar to the one used during the NEET exam registration
- Identity proof such as Aadhar, PAN or equivalent
