According to the report of the Italian National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology IGVN, the eruption started at 3:50 am on 2nd June. It was also seen in the eruption, the combination of hot rock, ash and gases coming out with the eruptions.
Another report stated that it didn’t affect the Valle del Leone, which is located at the foot of the Mt Etna, but a major eruption took place at the southeastern part.
