It is very sad news to hear of his passing away on 4th April 2025 due to heart illness at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. His fellow actor Dharmendra, whom he once called the greedy actor also came to pay the ritual ceremony for his soul to rest in peace. There was also seen Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor , Sunny Deol, Karan Johar, Madhur Bhandarkar, etc also paid condolences.
On hearing this sad news, the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, and President Droupadi Murmu also paid condolences for such sad moments.
His cremation is tomorrow ime 5th April,2025, and at the venue Pawan Hans in Mumbai, India. The body will remain at his home address, Goshwami towers, before it.
