Breaking News: In a very shocking incident during the observation of the celebration of the Royal Challengers Bangalore’s win in the IPL final 2025 for the first time, the Bangalore satampede killed 11 people and many others near the Chinnaswamy Stadium. This stampede happened during the observation of the victory parade.

In this sad incident, the deputy CM of Maharashtra state, Ajit Pawar, stated it was a shocking incident and an Unimaginable tragedy. Further stated that such an incident needed urgent crowd safety and better event management. He also gave a condolence message to the departed souls.

Also, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren stated his condolence message. He also stated that it was sad news and also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured people.

On this, the chief minister of the state, CM Siddaramaiah, stated that he didn’t believe such shocking incidents would occur and thus directed the magisterial to look into the incident.

Sachin Tendulkar also expressed his condolences to the deceased of the 11 lives on the occasion of the RCB IPL win parade stampede, and also stated that it was beyond tragic.

IPL chairman Mr Arun Dhumal also expressed his condolences to the deceased’s family and stated that the BCCI had no idea that such an event would be organised

What happened in the Bangalore RCB Victory parade?

Soon after the RCB won the iNdian premier league final match 2025, the home minister of the Karnataka state, Dr G Parameshwara, inspected the Arrangement at the Vidhana Soudha. Then the victory parade was done live with DK Shivakumar receiving the RCB the champion of the IPL at the Airport.

At around 5:49 pm there news came of 7 people died due to the stampede in the Chinnaswamy Stadium, and soon after this, at around 8:03 pm, a total of 11 people were confirmed to have died of the stampede.

Who is responsible for the RCB Stampede?

It is believed that the free passes announcement and overcrowding might also be one big reason for such a shocking incident, where 11 people died on the spot due to the human stampede, and several other people were injured near the Chinnaswamy stadium. According to a Karnataka Minister, Priyank Kharge, stated that the cause of the fatality and the deceased could have been prevented if there were proper event management . Furthermore stated that the stadium capacity was for only 35000 people, but seen gathering og 2 to 3 lakhs of fans and supporters. As cricket is one of the main sports in India, fans of the state were excited and happy at the Winning of the Indian Premier League for the first time by the Bangalore teams.

Now, the Chief Minister of Karnataka state announced to give ₹ 10 lakh as compensation to each of the deceased families.
