In the year 1974, it was hosted in the city of Spokane, United States, with the theme Only One Earth, then in 1975 at Chandigarh with the theme ” Human Settlement” , in 1976 with the theme “Water: Vital Resources for life ” at Ontario, Canada and so on. And this year it will be hosted in South Korea with the theme “Ending Plastic Pollution”. However, the next year it will be hosted in Azerbaijan, and the theme is “tbd”.
